 | With almost perfect garden visiting weather Cerne Abbas was filled with 1500 visitors over the weekend.
 | We had 29 gardens open over the two days.
Here are some garden descriptions.
There were two wheelchair friendly open, some gardens with limited accessibility for disabled folk and most gardens welcomed well behaved dogs on leads.
 | Amongst th 1500 visitors were 3 gardening societies who benefitted from a £2 ticket discount.

The car park was kindly provided by Minterne Estate and accomodated both cars and coaches.
 | The plant stall was, as usual, well patronised. It is manned by village folk and supported by local nurseries providing excellent plants at very competitive prices. It contributed more than £1,000 to the effort. |
 | Home made teas and cake were serrved in the vicarage garden.
They contributed £1,750 to the effort.

Nearly £13,000 will be divided equally between Cerne Valley Cricket Club and The Dorset Wildlife Trust.
