Open Gardens welcomes visitor groups.
We usually get visits from horticultural societies who are especially welcome. In
the past we have even opened a handful of gardens in the week before open
gardens to accomodate annual garden visit holidays.
Lunchtime meals may be obtained in the local pubs or teashop. The Squibb Garden next to the church is open all day and is a good place to picnic.
We offer a £2 discount on the ticket price for groups of 20 or more.
By contacting us beforehand we can arrange for tickets and maps to be sent in
advance, or have them ready at the car park for collection on arrival.
On the weekend there is plenty of room in the car park, which is open from 1pm (We can make an earlier arrangemnt for coaches if necessary). The easiest access is to enter the village using the southernmost road into the village. Although this means driving through the village it avoids the narrowest roads and tightest turns.
For an emailed reminder in September, when societies are often planning their outings, please send us you email address.
